We Have GERMINATION!

If you read Friday's blog you know that the kids are attempting to germinate Cosmo seeds using a wet paper towel, a ziploc bag and a little sunlight.

Cosmos typically take 5-10 days to germinate.  I decided to take a peek at them today and low and behold, we have germination!  The kids are super excited.  It is a bit difficult to see them in the pictures.

Today is day three of our pollution science experiment and I must say...it is not going well for the celery that is in the polluted water.  I am not sure if it will last an entire week....

Tomorrow we begin working on our lapbooks!  Should be a fun and busy day.  Hopefully this beautiful weather holds!
