Weekend Wrap-up!

Hello wonderful people!  Hope this post finds you well.

Things have been very busy this week and will likely only get busier....at least until after Thanksgiving.

MIT sponsors an annual chain reaction rally and our homeschooling group has two teams that are participating.  Bryce is on one of those teams and is SO excited.  They had their first meeting this week and I think it is safe to say that everyone has a blast.

Unfortunately, we had to miss weekly play group with our fellow homeschoolers because Bryce developed a fever.  Thankfully he was back to his normal self within 24 hours.

Some of the other things we've done this week include:

Matchbox Math

A Nature Walk around our neighborhood (we are very fortunate to live in a neighborhood surrounded by woods and wildlife)

A craft to celebrate the beginning of fall

Dr.Seuss Matching
One of the kids must have taken this because those are my hands. lol

Build and Grow Clinic at Lowes

Story and Craft Time at the library

Visited the Kids Discovery Museum in Winchester for the Smithsonian's Museum Day

Had a picnic at the park

Suffice it to say, we've had a great week.  While at the Discovery Museum we even ran into some Civil War Soldiers which the kids thought was awesome.  :0)

Next week we have our first co-op meeting of the year on Wednesday, play group on Thursday, Bryce's Chain Reaction Rally meeting on Friday and plan are in the works to visit a local spring, castle and state park.

Hope you all have a wonderfully productive week!

Happy Homeschooling!
