Mid-week Update and Weekend Re-cap

Hello!

I wanted to take a moment to recap our weekend and give a run down of how the rest of our week is going to play out.

Our weekend was wonderful, busy but wonderful.  The boys took a class at Lowes with their dad and made police cars.

While the boys were off building their cars, Abbie and I decided to spend some quality girl time at the mall spending her birthday money.

Afterwards, we all headed to the library to check out books for the week and get Bryce his first library card.
The original pile was twice this....glad we came to our senses.
Once we finished at the library we went to visit a friend of mine, who had a surprise for the kids...

Meet Miss Kitty, the catfish.  There is actually a smaller one in there as well but he stays hidden.

Checking out the additions.

The minnows (aka lunch) we added Sunday...as were the Goldfish.
Bryce and I also worked on his model of the Earth.  This was round two as Noah accidentally cracked our first effort.  This time we used something a bit more Noah-proof.
He's so goofy.

After the first layer was applied.  It actually took it three days to dry completely, so it isn't complete yet.
On to this week.  The kids have moved onto their second sign language DVD and it is class as usual.  We started on an art project Monday that I hope to have finished by the end of the week.

Today is play group which is always a good time.  We were suppose to have a mock archaeological dig in the volleyball court but threats of rain have caused us to postpone is for the third time.  Hopefully, we can do it next week before the group switches into co-op mode.

This Saturday we are going to Fall Farm Fun Days at one of the local Farmers Markets which should be an absolute blast.

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Happy Homeschooling!
